about

From the original post:

"Happening again – the year of ten. This week is another track from the same time period as the last installment, ‘Flight-About An Astronaut’. I believe I even started it at the same cabin in the mountains mentioned in that post as well. ‘Your Commune May Be Changing’ is another mess of layered percussion and synths, exhibiting a little more comfort in the realm of Reaktor and a little more open-mindedness as to its uses in my music. This style, experimentation and really letting go of what I allowed myself to do musically is what connects Vinculum to Baker’s Blood. It just so happens that when releases finally get compiled, I usually don’t trust these sorts of transitional tracks in the mix – something hasn’t quite clicked with them yet. That is not to say I don’t hold this track with some esteem, for surely I would not ask you, dear listener, to expose yourself to that which I deem unworthy for my own ears. Let’s listen together and perhaps we might all find something different to enjoy.

But never let leave your musical mind
that message of portentous kind -
No longer ears and thoughts are hanging,
the message: “Your Commune May Be Changing”.

Ok, so the poem is a stretch – take it as you wish."
